I đź’“Libraries

Jill sent me this picture. A couple blocks from her hotel is this awesome library where she studies. It does my heart good just to look at the picture. We do appreciate beautiful libraries in our family! #happinessproject2017

Friendship Baking

This guy is multi talented and has a good heart. He is making cinnamon buns for a friend (well, one pan for a friend, one pan for him and Bobby is actually what will most likely happen). Smells so good! #happinessproject2017 #dietsabatoger

Mmmmmm! Breakfast

Today there was a Welcome Back breakfast for us at school! We have an amazing group of parents who are supportive and kind. Just one more great thing about my job that makes my #happinessproject2017 easy!

Back to School Blessings

First day back to school: it was indoor recess. The courtyard wasn't shovelled. It was clear a number of us weren't really ready to be back....which makes teaching tough. On the other hand, I also received 16 hugs, heard a story from a parent about her child's gratitude prayer for having the greatest teacher and to top it off.....I got a necklace beaded on a string of dental floss. I love my job. #happinessproject2017

Montreal

Big changes in our family! Today Jill is off to Montreal. She got a job as a flight attendant with Air Canada and the training is in Montreal. We are sure going to miss her.

Happy New Year!

Day 1 and no picture. What a bad start.

I decided I would write anyway. If I were to take a picture I'd take one of my friends at church and I sitting on the back row in Relief Society having a great time. Or I'd take one of Jill off with her friends for her last day before she goes to Montreal. Or I'd take one of the awesome roast we had for dinner that Allen bought the other day. Or I'd take one of Peirce napping as he tries to recover from a really fun New Year's eve.

But I didn't. Today has been a quiet and relaxing day. I have loved it. Ready to get at it tomorrow though!
