Day 105 Kids Book Club

I have more than one project going at school with books and reading. The favourite, for sure, is grade three book club. Today we had a small group (it's always harder to get kids to come when it is so nice out) to discuss Pax. We really had a great discussion. Those kids are brilliant. I love hearing their thoughts on books.

After recess, we invite all the grade three's to come in and hear the book talks on the next two choices. This month the two choices were The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe and The Lightning Thief. They were very excited about the first one, but when I showed them The Lightning Thief, they went crazy! It won by a huge majority.

They all leave the room talking and excited and eager to get started.
