Today Peirce sent me a text: I got my ears pierced.
*deep breath*
I replied: Oh boy. You did? Send a picture!
Turned out he hadn't - he and his friends all sent that same text to their parents to see how they'd react. He said I was the nicest. *phew!*

It was a front though. I was having birdies inside....but I'm glad I didn't respond that way.
I personally don't have an issue with pierced ears - I just would hate the social ramifications that come with it in the church.
What a kid. And I was having such a lovely day prior to that. LOL
