Good Bye Minoru! Hello Minoru!

To keep things simple, Geos has asked us to host two students this month - both with the same name: Minoru (pronounced "mi-no-dough").

Today at 9:00 am we took Minoru to the airport to say goodbye and send him back to Japan.

Minoru had stayed with us for a week. He works at a medicine factory in Japan. I thought it was interesting that he lives in an apartment building the company provides and so all the people he lives around are the same people he works with.

He is 36 years old and single. It was funny to see how guys are the same everywhere. One night he went shopping and came home late. He came in and told me how he had had such a great time. I expected him to tell me Chinook is a really great shopping center...but no. It was him and 3 other girls...."so great!", as he put it. LOL Minoru was really great with Peirce. They'd go for walks in the evening and play in the back yard and play with Chico. Peirce really had a good time with him.

After dropping off Minoru I zipped home, changed the sheets in the spare room, and chauffered Allen to his EQ activity and Jill and Pierce off to their birthday parties scheduled for today. At 3:00 I picked up a new Minoru. He is 50 and retired, and single and will be staying with us for 3 weeks. Seems like a nice man. He lives with his 80 year old father, his brother, his brother's wife, and their 3 children. He said their home is about half the size of our house.
