Pippi Longstocking

This next week is our second book club meeting at school. We are going to discuss Pippi Longstocking. I finished reading it today. It was funny to listen to the kids in my class talk about this book here and there. They really seemed to like it, and they really like Pippi. She is kind of a kid's hero who seems to be living the dream. All those braggadocios things kids like to say are realized in Pippi. It's entertaining to read it as an adult and hear how my kids in Gr. 2 eat it up. Really looking forward to discussing this book!
